Late September to October date TBD, 2024 ~ 9:00 a.m.
Location: Trinity Presbyterian Church on Military Road next to the Old River Rd entrance.
The meetings start at 9 AM.

Fire District #1 Chief Chris Kaufmann spoke at our meeting. He briefed us on the status of the Fire Dept.

District #1:
*covers 122 sq miles with 202 employees and a $25M budget
*They respond to approximately 10,000 calls/year
*is a fully accredited fire department
*maintains a PIAL Rating of 2-saving everyone money on homeowners insurance
*opened a new fire station on Allen Road near us in 2023
This will reduce response times in our area.

At the May 18 meeting a quorum was present and the membership elected officers for 2024
